Research Activities
Andrew's research lab at Federation University focuses primarily on infectious diseases in low-income settings. Areas on research include:- Characterisation and phylogenetic of pathogens, including Salmonella, Shigella and Avian Influenza
- Diagnosis of infectious diseases and detection of aetiological agents, with a focus on the application of LAMP
- Interactions between the gut microbiota and gastrointestinal
- Antimicrobial resistance surveillance
