Research Activities

Clostridial pathogenesis, particularly involving Clostridium perfringens, Clostridium difficile and Clostridium sordellii, including both animal and human strains. Spores and biofilms of the clostridia. Biology of clostridial transposons. Antibiotic resistance and horizontal gene transfer.
