Mechanisms of activity and resistance of polymyxins (NIH and NHMRC funded projects)
Discovery of novel lipopeptides and natural products against Gram-negative polymyxin-resistant 'superbugs' (NIH and NHMRC funded projects)
Combination of antimicrobial agents (NHMRC and NIH funded projects)
Chemotherapy for infections in patients with cystic fibrosis
Novel anti-pathogenic agents
Integration of pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic principles to assist in antimicrobial development, to reduce resistance development and to optimize efficacy in the clinical use of antimicrobial agents
Lead optimisation of new antimicrobial entitiesPhage pharmacology and therapy
