Research Activities
My research work is principally focused on events central to human infection and immunity. Specifically, I work on structural & functional studies on viral and bacterial proteins involved in infection and challenging human immunity. This has important implications for understanding the disease progression in human and provide hints towards its regulation. My current research also focused on COVID-19 and understanding of host-pathogen interactions. My research key technical areas include X-ray crystallography, Cryo-EM, Molecular dynamics, protein biochemistry and biophysical techniques (SPR, ITC, MALS, SAXS, MST, TPM). I am also expertise in DNA/RNA-Protein interactions and dissecting its functional importance with its physiological role. In particular, in the control of viral RNA replication and translation in humans..Techniques/Expertise
