Research Activities

A postdoctoral scientist in the HIV Molecular Pathogenesis Laboratory, Jacqueline has a keen interest in both virology and immunology, and aims to reduce the burden of infectious disease worldwide.

Jacqueline's research interests include how HIV enters cells of the immune system with a focus upon alterations in the T cell subset HIV infects, the development of viral reservoirs, HIV pathogenesis and the development of novel entry inhibitors.

Techniques/Expertise

An array of virology and immunology techniques including expertise in CD4 T cell subsets, viral infection assays, flow cytometry, primary cell culture, viral entry assays, drug inhibition assays, clinical cohort and clinical trials.
